SAR-I-PUL (PAN): Two newly-constructed school buildings were inaugurated in Sur-i-Pul province, an official said on Saturday.
The single-storey buildings, each built over 2.5 acres of land, would resolve the space problem for 1400 students, the education director said.
Ghafoor told Pajhwok Afghan News the each of the two schools in Sancharak district cost $215,146 (10,000,000 afghanis).
Constructed under the National Solidarity Programme, the projects had a 10 percent contribution from area residents, said Eng. Javed Javed, the rural rehabilitation and development director.
