QALAT (PAN civilian helicopter crashed in the southern province of Zabul, the alliance said on Saturday, adding an investigation has been launched into the crash.
The International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) issued a brief statement, saying the incident took place on Saturday, but said nothing about the exact location or casualties if any.
However, the statement said further information would be released after the investigation was completed.
