Takhar teachers rally for land plots

 TALOQAN (PAN): Some teachers on Saturday staged a protest for the allotment of land plots in the Khwaja Bahauddin district of northern Takhar province.

Khirullah, a protestor, told Pajhwok Afghan News: “Two years ago the government approved a plot for me. But I’m yet to be allotted it, despite the fact I don’t have my own house.”

Suleman Muradi, the governor’s spokesman, said they had dispatched a letter to the district administration to allot land plots to teachers in compliance with ministerial orders.
