KHOST CITY (PAN from southeastern Khost province, the governor’s house said.

The detainees wanted to enter Pakistan for training in suicide bombing when they were apprehended near the Durand Line, the governor’s house media centre said in a statement.
They had confessed to their intention of receiving suicide bombing training in Pakistan, the statement claimed.

A week ago, seven individuals were detained for their alleged links with insurgents, the statement quoted the provincial National Directorate of Security (NDS0 chief, Gen. Abdul Wasi Ahmadzai, as saying.

Another two militants were arrested red handed while planting roadside bombs in the Sabari district on Sunday, said the Thunder Military Corps first brigade commander, Brig. Gen. Nasir Hidayat.
