KABUL to let ordinary children go to schools the way they allowed adults of some leaders to study in foreign universities.
“End your enmity with education and let Afghan children go to school,” Karzai asked the armed opposition group in his biweekly radio speech aired on Friday.
“Our tribal and religious leaders, using their influence, should talk to the Taliban and ask them to end their enmity with the country’s education.”
He said daughters should be allowed to continue studying and wished an improved quality of education.
