“Two ISAF service members and one ISAF civilian died following an aircraft mishap in eastern Afghanistan today,” the coalition said in a brief statement.
Last month, an ISAF helicopter went down in militancy-plagued southern Zabul province. Local officials confirmed the chopper had been shot down by militants.
Six US soldiers had been killed and one person on board the Black Hawk UH-60 injured in the crash in Shah Joi district.
