Forces all ready to thwart militants’ attacks: Azimi

KABUL (Pajhwok): Findings revealed that attacks by anti-state elements and insurgents would step up with the support of regional intelligence networks until the polling day scheduled for June 14, a statement by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said on Monday.

MoD Spokesperson Gen. Zahir Azimi told a news conference in Kabul that the first round of elections was a vital experience for security forces, especially Afghan National Army (ANA) to review its flaws and drawbacks.
