HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Police on Tuesday claimed arresting two individuals involved in a series of terrorist activities in western Herat province.
A statement issued by the provincial police headquarters claimed the pair had promised the Taliban that they would kill at least 40 pro-government individuals.
The arrests come amid tight security measures put in place in Herat City for Eidul Fitr holidays.
