KABUL’s southwestern Balochistan province on Friday evening, a news report said.
The insurgents were killed during a fierce battle that erupted in Dasht area of Turbat in the morning, Frontier Corps (FC) spokesman Khan Wasey told Dawn.Com
A dozen terrorists were killed as both sides were used heavy weapons in the fire exchange. “The Gunbattle is still ongoing,” another official said, adding several people were injured as a result of the armed clash.
The troops reportedly seized arms and ammunition during the operation. More FC contingents were called in to bring the situation under control.
