ASADABAD (Pajhwok): Two women have been wounded in a cross-border rocket attack on eastern Kunar province, an official claimed on Tuesday.
Governor Shujaul Mulk told Pajhwok Afghan News that Pakistani forces had fired at least 17 rockets into Kunar since Monday night.
The rockets landed in different areas of Dangam district, wounding two women and killing several domestic animals, the governor said.
Since March 21, 11 people have been killed, 60 others wounded, 32 civilian houses destroyed and 250 families displaced as a result of Pakistani shelling.
