KABUL (Pajhwok): A journalist, who was seriously wounded during a Taliban suicide attack on a French-run school in Kabul, succumbed to his injuries in hospital on Sunday. The December 11 attack the Istiqlal School in the heart of Kabul killed a German national and wounded 20 other people. The bomber struck when a performance was in progress at the French Institute of Afghanistan. A local TV cameraman, Zubair Hatami, was seriously injured in the bombing, which drew widespread condemnation from civil society and human rights groups. He breathed his last after staying in a coma for 10 days.
