KABUL (Pajhwok): Kabul and Islamabad are adhering to their commitments made during President Ashraf Ghani’s visit to Islamabad some months ago, the Pakistani prime minister has said.
Nawaz Sharif told reporters in Lahore late on Saturday terrorists would no longer be able to find any sanctuary in the region if the two neighbouring countries clung to their pledges.
According to The Express Tribune, Sharif made the remarks after addressing a passing-out parade of the first batch of the Counter-Terrorism Force (CTF) at the Elite Police Training School.
All state institutions were determined to win the ongoing war against terrorism at any cost as Pakistan’s economic and social survival was linked to it, the prime minister said
Senior officials including the army chief, the interior minister, military commanders and diplomats of different countries attended the graduation ceremony.
