MAIDAN SHAHR (Pajhwok): A provincial council member on Sunday urged the government to take immediate action for resolving a long-running dispute between the Hazara and Kuchi (nomads) tribes over grazing lands in central Maidan Wardak province.
Ahmad Jafari told a meeting with the provincial acting governor that the dispute, now 12 years old, had claimed severan lives so far, according to Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman.
