PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Categorically condemning torching of 12 mosques in northern Baghlan province on Thursday, the hajj to surrender the perpetrators to Ulama Council or the group would be held responsible for setting the fire to worship places.
Abdul Rashid Mazhari, director hajj and religious affairs, told Pajhwok Afghan News 12 mosques had been torched in the last 10 days in Dand-i-Ghori locality of the provincial capital, Pul-i-Khumri.
He said the mosques were set on fire in areas where Taliban had sway . . .
