KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghan currency has dipped down while the rates of essential items have remained steady during the outgoing week in capital Kabul, market sources said Thursday.
According to moneychangers in Sara-i-Shahzada, the buying rate of one US dollar was 62.15 Afghanis while 1,000 Pakistani Rupees accounted for 593 Afghanis.
Last week's exchange value of one dollar stood at 61.30afs and 1,000 Pakistani rupees at 589afs.
