HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): A filmmaker in western Herat province on Monday set ablaze hundreds of his documents and movie-making equipment to register his protest against the government for not supporting the emerging cinema industry
Abdul Rahid Azimi torched his 350 CDs of documentary films, 200 CDs of photos, short films and 100 pages documents, appreciation letters, certificates and newly-written film stories in front of the Information and Culture Department in Herat City.
