KABUL (Pajhwok): Kabul residents on Tuesday protested the closure of roads to facilitate lawmakers’ travel to the parliament, creating traffic problems for commuters in the capital.
About a hundred capital inhabitants gathered in front of the parliament building and blocked the road, calling for the legislators not to create trouble for the ordinary people.
Samim Tawan, a Katib University student who participated in the rally, complained he left his home at 7am daily but reached the university two hours late due to frequent road closures.
