KABUL (Pajhwok): Refugee and Repatriation Minister Syed Hussain Alemi Balkhi on Sunday put the number of people displaced by the conflict from nothern Kunduz to other provinces at more than 100,000 individuals.
Talking journalists in Kabul, Balkhi said a special team of his ministry had registered 20,000 families -- 100,000 people -- that have recently been displaced.
“Of these families, 11,000 have moved to Takhar, 1,000 families to Badakhshan, 613 to Balkh, 3,000 to Kabul, 1,640 to Baghlan, 150 to Parwan . . .
