KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): The capital of northern Kunduz province has returned to normalcy after two weeks of fighting, but residents complain against soaring prices of essential commodities and possible insurgent attacks.
Two weeks back, hundreds of Taliban militants stormed the strategic city from various directions, capturing the town after a few hours of clashes with the security forces.
But the city was purged of insurgents gradually and peace had been restored to most parts. Shops have reopened, but residents continue face problems and the authorities have failed . . .
