KUNDUZ (Pajhwok): An official on Monday said 40 percent of Imam control and foreign fighters were spearheading the conflict.
Amanuddin Quraishi, the town’s administrative head, told Pajhwok Afghan News currently around 1,500 Afghan and foreign Taliban fighters were fighting security forces in Imam Sahib. The rebels included 200 foreign fighters who were leading the battle for control over the district centre, he said.
