PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Afghan Finance Minister Eklil Hakimi is due in Islamabad next week to attend a two-day meeting of the Joint Economic Commission (JEC), a media report said on Tuesday.
Signalling its willingness to keep communications open despite lingering bilateral tensions, the Afghan government has confirmed Hakimi’svisit to Islamabad.
Following s a spectacular spike in Taliban blamed Islamabad for failing to do enough to rein in the insurgents.
