SAR-I-PUL (Pajhwok): Residents of the northern province of Sar-i-Pul on Tuesday asked government officials to ensure tight security on the highway leading to Jawzjan.
Since April 2015, according to media reports, 29 people -- including four judges -- have been abducted by unidentified gunmen on the highway.
The victims also include six teachers, an employee of the social affairs department, a driver, a school principal, 14 civilians and two security personnel.
