CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Some residents of Bagram district in central Parwan province on Sunday protested against the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for not paying the rent of their private lands previously used by American forces.
Around 100 residents of Yawz Bash, Hasankhel and Gali villages participated in the protest rally, claiming the MoD owed $14 million in unpaid rent to them.
Lal Saeed, one of the residents from Yawz Bash village, told Pajhwok Afghan News they had given on rent a total 985 acres of land . . .
