KABUL (Pajhwok): More than hundred enraged protesters on Saturday blocked the busy Kabul-Jalalabad highway in Hodkhil locality of capital Kabul against the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for what they said grabbing their private lands.
The protest rally emerged at around 9:00am and was underway as of 2:00pm, keeping the road blocked for all kinds of traffic on the eastern outskirts of Kabul. They claimed the MoD had grabbed and fenced their as many as 1,000 acres of hereditary land.
