ASADABAD (Pajhwok): At least four civilians were killed in an explosion in the Shigal district of eastern Kunar province on Sunday, an official said.
The explosion happened at around 4:00pm in Aman kot locality in front of a shop where people had gathered, Police Chief Abdul Habib Syedkheli told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Provincial Council Chief Jamaluddin Sayar confirmed the explosion and killing of four civilians.
No militant group had claimed responsibility for the explosion.
