TEHRAN (Pajhwok): During Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Abdullah’s visit, the Iranian government pledged providing facilities for Afghan traders at the Chabahar port, an official said on Wednesday.
Akbar Turkan, senior economic advisor to the Iranian president, assured Abdullah Afghan entrepreneurs who want to invest in Chabahar port, they would be exempted from visa restrictions, custom duties and taxes.
Javed Faisal, the CEO spokesman, quoted Abdullah as calling the Chabahar port a good alternative for the Gwadar port of Pakistan
