KABUL (Pajhwok): Former workers of the electronic National Identity Card (e-NIC) Department on Wednesday claimed they were being replaced by blue-eyed individuals, a claim officials rejected.
The department had held in abeyance jobs of 1,000 employees due to financial problems, but later removed them all on December 22, 2015 and promised to call back 400 of them.
The 400 sacked employees on Wednesday staged a protest in front of the Parliament building in Kabul, saying they would not allow the ID card project . . .
