QALAT (Pajhwok): One security official and one civilian were killed in an explosion in the Shajoyi district of southern Zabul province on Thursday, an official said.
The explosion took place at around 11:00 am in the Charso locality when security officials were defusing the planted mine, District Chief Wazir Mohammad Jawadi told Pajhwok Afghan News.
One security official and one civilian had been wounded in the blast who were shifter to the hospital. There was no claim of responsibility for the plantation of mine.
