MAIMANA (Pajhwok): A newly-constructed building for girls’ hostel was inaugurated at the university in northern Faryab province on Wednesday.
The building cost more than $1 million funded by the Norwegian government, the university chancellor, Gul Ahmad Fazli, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The two-storey structure has 31 rooms, a conference hall, a kitchen, a garden and a play ground and has the capacity to accommodate 160 students.
Another hostel for 160 girls, a project funded by, the Ministry of Counternarcotics, was under construction on the campus, Fazli said, adding more than 700 . . .
