SAR-I-PUL (Pajhwok): After a delay lasting two months, members of the provincial council of northern Sar-i-Pul province on Monday elected the council’s administrative board in the absence of media reporters.
Aziz Ahmad Rassouli, the regional Independent Election Commission (IEC Noor Mohammad Baig was elected as the council’s head, Asadullah Danish his deputy and Mohammad Hussain Mujahidzada as secretary through a ballot held at the governor’s house. He said the three members were elected unopposed.
