MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): Thirty-five newly completed welfare projects were inaugurated on Monday in the Dawlatabad district of northern Balkh province, an official said.
The 35 projects including two community centres, 35 water wells, 13 water tanks and a 444-metre retaining wall were implemented at a cost of 65,751, 820 afghanis under the National Solidarity Programme (NSP).
NSP spokesman in north Farid Ahmad Sadat told Pajhwok Afghan News the projects also included the gravelling of a 55 kilometres road and construction of 272 culverts.
