PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): A rocket fired by militants hit the office of the provincial deputy governor in the capital of northern Baghlan province on Monday, killing one person and injuring four others, an official said.
The BM1 rocket hit the deputy governor’s office in Pul-i-Khumri at around 11:15am, said Governor Abdul Sattar Bariz.
He told Pajhwok Afghan News the rocket hit the roof of his deputy’s office, killing a worker of the provincial power utility and wounded driver of the deputy governor and three civilians.
