The Japanese Embassy in Kabul in a statement said the funding, contributed through the Afghanistan Reconstruction Trust Fund (ARTF), would support two on-going projects.
The two projects --- Irrigation Restoration and Development Project (IRDP) and Afghanistan Rural Access Project (ARAP) --- are essential to meet the country’s needs to improve the lives of the people of Afghanistan and the recurrent cost expenditures of the Afghan government, the statement said.
