KABUL (Pajhwok): Security officials in areas where kidnapping incidents happen would be prosecuted over negligence as directed by the National Security Council (NSC), the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said Sunday.
According to a statement from the MoI, the decision has been made to prevent kidnapping cases.
“If a case of kidnapping happens in any police district, the security officials concerned will be prosecuted and investigated about their negligence in duty,” the statement said.
