MAHMOOD RAQI (Pajhwok): Construction work on separate roads measuring 21.5 kilometres and a large bridge has been launched in central Kapisa province, an official said on Wednesday.
Qais Qaderi, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News a 14-km road in Kohistan-1, a 5-km road in the provincial capital, Mahmood Raqi, and a 2.5-km road in Kohistan-2 districts were being constructed.
A 140-metre long bridge on the Panjshir River was also being constructed in Kohistan-2 district to replace a wood-made bridge, he said.
