MAIMANA (Pajhwok): A senior sports official on Saturday said 12 acres of land for a sports complex and a gymnasium for females has been specified in the capital of northern Faryab province.
Sports and Marshal Art Federation Director Mohammad Humayon Khairi, who visited Maimana, expressed his optimism about future of sports in the province.
He termed as challenges the lack of sport facilities and the existence of imaginary federations in the way of sports development in the country.
