SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): Some residents of northern Jawzjan province on Wednesday demanded the establishment of more security check-posts on the Shiberghan-Sar-i-Pul highway and the elimination of terrorists from the region.
Abdul Ghafar, an inhabitant of Jegdalek village, expressed delight over the improved law and order situation in his locality along the highway and said they witnessed peace after clearing operations in the area.
He said Taliban used to enter civilians’ homes and fire at security forces. Ghafar asked the government to establish check posts . . .
