FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): Seven former officials, including a deputy governor for western Ghor province, have been sentenced to three months in prison on charges of embezzlement and misuse of power.
Ex-deputy governor Mohammad Amin Tokhi, revenue director Mohammad Yousuf Danyar, governor’s house administrative chief Ghulam Mohammad Paiman were found guilty of stealing funds and misusing their power.
Former urban development director Khair Mohammad, revenue manager Nuruddin, procurement director Abdul Samad and another revenue official Abdul Haq Rassouli were also convicted.
