HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Defence (MoD) on Tuesday pledged assistance to an Afghan National Army (ANA) soldier who was grievously wounded in western Herat province.
The promise from MoD comes as Pajhwok Afghan News released on Sunday an interview of the soldier, Niamatullah Farhadiwhose spinal cord was damaged in a Taliban attack.
After three years of his army job, the man currently has no source of income.Farhadi has been under treatment at the Herat Zonal Hospital for the past one week.
