GARDEZ (Pajhwok): The provincial council’s administrative board in southeastern Paktia province on Tuesday said the provincial administration should not be accused of corruption but instead cooperated with in fighting the menace.
The board’s views come after some provincial council members accused the provincial governor of corruption and demanded his removal.
The public representatives alleged Governor Nasratullah Arsala had failed in his affairs and corruption increased under him.
But provincial council chief Abdul Rauf Khan Zadran told a press conference here that the provincial administration should be extended cooperation in fighting corruption . . .
