PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): More than 40 houses, vacated by Afghan citizens, have been razed by the local administration in various areas of Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber tribal region, an official said.
Afghan refugees had left the houses in Khan Kalai (village) after they were given a deadline of three days, Malagori area administrator Shahkeel Burkitold said.
At least 39 families had already left for Afghanistan, he said, adding 43 vacant houses were demolished by the security personnel on Sunday.
