MAIMANA (Pajhwok): The education director of northwestern Faryab province has been arrested for allegedly having a fake degree and other documents, an official said on Tuesday.
Chief Prosecutor Habibullah Alam told Pajhwok Afghan News Director Ghulam Sakhi Bayan was arrested late on Monday based on reports that his degree and documents were bogus.
“An assessment has been launched to ascertain whether his documents are genuine or not,” he said, without explaining where Bayan was arrested and who complained against him.
