KABUL (Pajhwok): As a result of 190 clashes, more than 1,600 people were killed and nearly 1,200 others wounded in 30 provinces of the country in the past one month, while no incident of violence occurred in remaining four provinces in this period.
Pajhwok Afghan News statistics show in August, 50 percent of casualties occurred Helmand, Nangarhar, Faryab, Paktia, Laghman, Ghor and Kandahar provinces.
The rest of 50 percent happened in 23 other provinces of the country. Significantly, no security incidents happened in Panjsher, Bamyan, Daikundi and Samangan provinces.
