JALALABAD (Pajhwok): At least 11 people were injured on Thursday when a gas cylinder exploded in a passenger car in the Batikot district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said.
Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast took place in the Saypai area of the district before noon.He said 11 passengers and passers-by were injured.
The injured were immediately evacuated to local hospitals for treatment, Khogyani said, adding condition of the wounded was stable.
