MAHMUD RAQI (Pajhwok): Farmers say they are satisfied with the yield and price of prune dried fruit this year in Tagab district of central Kapisa province.
The inhabitants say the dried fruit price had been low last year, forcing many people to uproot their orchards but this year the fruit price’s increased several folds, benefitting gardeners.
A resident of Tagab, Khairullah said: “Last year a 7-kilo prune bag was sold for 500 Pakistani rupees but price of the same quantity jumped to Rs1,700 this year.”
He said gardeners were worried . . .
