JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Residents of eastern Laghman province on Tuesday complained about inordinate delays in the issuance of passports by the passport department at the provincial police headquarters.
They said initial process to apply for a passport took up to 40 days and then the passport agency kept the applicants waiting for a long time to receive passports.
The residents also criticized non-existence of female employees in the agency, saying even women’s biometric process was carried out by male servants.
