SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): About 950 displaced families were on Tuesday allotted residential plots by the Refugee and Repatriation Department in northern Jawzjan province.
Deputy governor Eng. Abdul Rahman Mahmoodi told a ceremony held on the occasion, that the families from Darzab and Qush Tepa districts were displaced by the conflict and natural disasters to Shiberghan, the provincial capital, three years ago.
“The displaced families have many times demanded residential plots and we finally while keeping in view their problems allotted 940 plots to them.” He said the number of plots to be given to the displaced . . .
