A statement from the ACAA to Pajhwok Afghan News said the airport’s reconstruction project would cost 389 million afghanis to be paid by the government.
The project is expected to take one year to complete, the statement said, adding the runaway of the airport -- 620 meters lengthy and one meter deep -- would be fundamentally reconstructed.
