BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): Local officials cite people’s support with security forces as the reason behind good security in central Bamyan province.
Lt. Col. Mohammad Ali Lakzai, deputy provincial police chief, on Wednesday told Pajhwok Afghan News the Afghan Local Police (ALP) personnel had always been in contact with people.
He said the ALP forces had neutralized all subversive plans of the enemy. “We work different from other police headquarters and our relations and connections with people are very cordial and closest. And it is the reason Bamyan is fully stable and in peace.”
