GARDEZ (Pajhwok): Nearly 500 kilograms of opium and 200 kilograms of hashish have been seized in the capital of southeastern Paktia province, an official said on Thursday.
Governor Zalamai Weesa told Pajhwok Afghan News the drugs were recovered from a truck by 2nd police district personnel in the Nistikot locality of Gardez, the provincial capital, on Wednesday evening.
